Started in 2010, we have grown from a small home-based organization to a prominent health network that supports Jewish families across Europe battling serious illness, crisis, and loss.
In 2017 we set up Ride4Chai as our annual fundraiser to help us raise the money needed to cover our annual budget.
You can read more about our services on our website https://www.chailifeline.be/.
About Ride4Chai
Ride4Chai has grown from 17 riders in 2017 to 50 riders in 2022. Our riders have so far raised over €620,000.
This year, the Adults' ride will take place on Sunday 25 June and the Boys' ride will take place on Sunday 2 July.
Chai Lifeline Belgium. Fighting illness with love.
We have a new Men’s Bikeathon committee to help organise the event and make sure everyone will have an amazing time.

They are here to help in any way they can and are available for your questions about the Adult ride.
The Adults' ride is for make riders that are 18+.
The Boys’ ride is for boys aged 12-17.
The Adults' ride will take place on Sunday 25 June 2023.
The Boys’ ride will take place on Sunday 2 July 2023.
There are 3 options to choose from for the Adults’ ride: an easy route of 45km, an intermediate route of 80km, and a challenging route of 120km.
But don’t worry! There will be plenty of pit stops along the way where you can rest and have something to eat and drink.
Sign-up is easy. All you need to do is to click on the Register button at the top of the page, choose which ride you’re joining - Adults or Boys - and fill out some contact details.
For the Adults’ ride, you need to raise a minimum of €1,000. We know that’s no easy feat and we really appreciate all the fundraising efforts our riders make. We will help your fundraising efforts by giving you WhatsApp Statuses and clips that you can post and send around to your contacts to help persuade them to donate to your page.
At the bare minimum, you need a racing bike and a helmet. Padded cycling shorts, cycling gloves, and water bottles are all nice to haves that will make your ride even more enjoyable.
We have a limited number of bikes available that you can rent for training and the ride itself. Just give Zaza a call on 0475286115 or Nechemja on 0474859246. It’s first come first served so you’d better be quick! Of course, you can always buy a racing bike. Ask Nechmja (0474859246) for some recommendations on where you can buy first and second-hand racing bikes.

We’ve not heard that excuse before ;) Look, you won’t be able to ride 120km from one day to the next if you don’t train at all. But here’s the good news. We’ve seen over the years that even new riders that started training 2-3 weeks before the event all managed to complete the 120km. You can do it! Or you can always opt for one of the shorter routes if you don’t feel confident to complete the 120km route. You won’t need much training to do the 45km route.
We’ve got you covered! We will be organising several group training sessions starting with a launch ride on Sunday 23 April 2023. And you’ll be added to a WhatsApp group where you can see when other riders are going out to train and join them.
No need to fear! We will have pacesetters for different speeds. That way you can ride with a group at a speed that you’re comfortable with. We’re happy to have you at Ride4Chai no matter how fast or slow you ride.
That’s no problem. Wearing the Ride4Chai clothing is not mandatory. Just make sure that whatever you’re wearing is light and comfortable.
Of course! We are looking for volunteers like van drivers and pit stop crew members to help us run the event. If you’d like to join Ride4Chai as a volunteer, just select the “As a Volunteer” option in the “I’m signing up to join” field on the Registration form. And as a volunteer, you’ll get your own Ride4Chai fundraising page.
